6.15am. Started our long run. I planned to take it easy this morning for two reasons: i) having a mild running nose & ii) recovering from last week's 30K run. That's why I chose to go for 70% effort. Reached 1st 10k at Hartamas at 54', 2nd 10K at 49' and last 4K at Carcosa at 20'.
Total distance ~ 24k
Total time 2:02':51".
Average Speed 5' 7" per km.

Easy Cruising at Taman Tasik Permaisuri
6.15am Left home for our morning run at the nearby Taman Tasik Permaisuri. Today's menu is a short and easy recovery run.
I did 3 laps around the lake with a total distance of 3.9km at 25' 18". My average speed is 6' 30" per km. Wai Mun did only 1 round as she is still recovering from flu. The session ended with lots of stretching.
Looking forward to tomorrow's long run.

Welcome to the World of "Running Couple"
Thanks to Ronnie for introducing the blogger to me. I'm very seasoned to running but am just a novice when comes to IT. I apologize if there are any flaws and inconveniences caused due to my inexperience.
Let me introduce myself. My name is John and my wife is Wai Mun. Our common passion and hobby is running marathons. In fact, I knew her through one of the trainings with the Pacesetters Athletics Club Malaysia back in 1997. As our running improved, our love also blossomed. Eventually, we tied the knot in 2001 and happy to say that we still enjoy running together. We are one of the unique running couples in our club and we intend to keep it that way.
As a couple, we have taken part in many road races in Malaysia and overseas since 1997. As my beloved wife is also an active walker, I unconsciously got involved in walking events from 1999 onwards. Together, we have accomplished many marathons, half marathons, 10K, 10K-20K walks, a 12-hour walk and two 24-hour walks. Will share with you our experience in the future postings.
We are currently preparing for the Kuala Lumpur International Marathon (KLIM) to be held on 6 March 2005. Six more weeks to go. My preparation for the 42K is going on fine. Hope I can manage to maintain my current form and endurance. Wai Mun will only be doing 21K this time around as her tight work schedule has been affecting her training programme. Please wish us good luck. Thanks! :)
